TBI Portal wins a FedHealthIT Innovation Award!

The FedHealthIT Innovation Awards and Networking Event was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at the National Press Club, “The Place Where News Happens.” This event recognizes and honors the Federal Health innovation, technology, and consulting community to celebrate programs nominated and selected by their peers for DRIVING INNOVATION and RESULTS across the Department of Veterans Affairs, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Military Health, and the Department of Health and Human Services.

We are the developers of the TBI portal, with guidance and leadership from the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and the Defense Health Agency (DHA). We are honored to be part of this prestigious award!

“The SpinSys team is very excited to be part of the health IT innovation and results mission within the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and the Defense Health Agency (DHA). SpinSys took a lead role in developing the Traumatic Brain Injury Portal among many other health portals and registries. The SpinSys team is always looking forward to continue innovating health IT to improve healthcare to our troops.”  – Wael Ali, SpinSys CEO

Here is an overview of the product: TBI Portal - Defense Health Agency
The Traumatic Brain Injury Portal provides a consolidated view of TBI patient data to inform clinical decisions and enable research across the Military Health System. Clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders interested in monitoring the short and long-term effects of brain injuries can use the portal to support patient-centered care, monitor outcomes, and obtain data to help program evaluation and research efforts.
